Evac-748 was created by the intergalactic race of aliens named Thetans to maintain the massive energy source powering the core of Race Planet Z.
In order to save on manufacturing costs, the Thetans designed Evac 748 without the hands necessary to operate the more delicate controls of the central processing hub. Frustrated by the prospect of his intentional handicap, Evac 748 fell into a deep depression that lasted for over two millennia. Until one day, while rummaging through the remnants of the abandoned trash facilities, Evac discovered a set of trans-dimensional headphones capable of receiving music transmissions from the various techno clubs spread throughout the galaxy.
Thrilled with his discovery, Evac decided to dedicate himself to becoming a famous intergalactic DJ. However, try as he might, Evac could not overcome the handicap imposed by the Thetans so many years ago.
Like the central processing hub, the buttons and knobs inherent to DJing proved to be an insurmountable obstacle. With no other hope, Evac entered the bi-millennial competition held at Race Planet Z. If Evac could claim victory, the Thetans would grant his one true wish—the installation of opposable thumbs so he could learn to scratch records.
