Information: Intended as the emotional opposite of its sister piece, "Ascent," "Descent" depicts a world where the center has failed causing reality to devolve into a vortex of fragemented reality. The geometic maps, which appear at the edges of the piece, contrast with the beautiful frescoes found in "Ascent."
